MCBC - This 6 ½-day course, Medical Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties (MCBC), 6H-F26, is conducted jointly by the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) and the US Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID). The course is designed for Medical Corps and Nurse Corps officers, Physician Assistants, Medical Service Corps officers in specialties 67B,C, or E, and other medical professionals. Classroom instruction, laboratory and field exercises prepare graduates to effectively manage casualties of chemical and biological agent exposure.
FCBC - This 5 day course, Field Management of Chemical and Biological Casualties Course (FCBC), is conducted by the US Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. Classroom discussion includes the current global threat; characteristics, recognition and emergency treatment of agent exposure, triage, and decontamination; and small-group exercises to reinforce casualty management principles. Laboratory and field training provide hands-on experience in treatment, contamination site management, personal protection, and other agent emergency response and rescue procedures.

The TRICARE Fundamentals Course is an entry-level 3-day classroom-based course designed for TRICARE assistance providers, beneficiary counselors, Family Support personnel, Reserve Component Unit Representatives, and anyone else with Tricare fulfillment or outreach responsibilities. Major topics include TRICARE eligibility; medical benefits, including TRICARE Prime Remote, TRICARE For Life, transitional benefits, pharmacy, and dental; claims and appeals; and customer service.
