ESGR NEW HOURS OF OPERATION - The NCESGR has expanded operations in response to the current military reserve recall, but will now be closed on Sundays. They are open 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday, to advise reservists, guardsmen and employers of their rights and responsibilities under the law. Call toll free 800-336-4590.

LABOR TO ENSURE RESERVE, GUARD MEMBERS RETURN TO JOBS - U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao announced that the Department of Labor will begin an education campaign for employers as well as National Guard and Reserve units, to ensure that civilians called up for active duty are re-employed at their previous jobs after completion of their military service.
