Environmental health factors posing the greatest risk (in descending order) to forces deployed to Kosovo include:- microbial and chemical contamination of water,
- chemical contamination of air and soil,
- industrial accidents releasing toxic industrial chemicals.
Pre-deployment immunizations for all personnel include Hepatitis A, MMR Td and Influenza. Selected personnel may require other vaccines as dictated by appropriate medical authority. No Malaria risk.
